Clark County Monitoring Program Survey

Client: Urban Environmental Research (UER)

Project Description: The Clark County Nuclear Waste Division is responsible for monitoring potential impacts associated with the location of a high level nuclear waste repository at Yucca Mountain, 99 miles northwest from Las Vegas. As part of the Division’s monitoring activities, for a period of three years, twice a year Strategic Solutions conducted, on their behalf, a telephone survey of Clark County residents.  The survey evaluated their attitudes and opinions regarding levels of service on various community indicators. The results of this survey are an integral component of the Clark County Monitoring Program and its measures of community indicators.
